A HYGGE BOX FULL OF WELLBEING AND HAPPINESS..

A Hygge Box is wellbeing and happiness in a box.

It is a leading self-care subscription box filled with a gorgeous collection of exciting treats. They work with artisans, makers and designers to fill their boxes with home-wares, delicious chocolate, stationery, inspiring books, cosy drinks and other exciting surprises.

Their February box theme was calm. They wanted to provide subscribers with some tools and products to start achieving more calm, which is something we would all benefit from.

Their boxes cost £35 a month including postage & packaging.

A HYGGEKROG – A NOOK THE HYGGE WAY…

The Danish say that every home needs a ‘Hyggekrog‘, which means ‘a nook‘.

It basically means it’s the place in your room where you love to sit or lie under a blanket with your favourite book or magazine and a cup of tea.

You can easily make your own ‘Hyggekrog’ in your home, just find that quiet area and pop your cushions and blanket ready for you to relax and chill.

Apparently, many of the buildings in Copenhagen have bay windows which are transformed with cushions and blankets for people to sit and relax after a busy day.

That doesn’t mean to say you need a window to create your ‘Hyggekrog‘ just a cozy area that is suitable for you to relax in.
